August      31^st - An Exploration of Prayer – Julian Walthall – in the chapel                         
Julian will share some ideas from his dissertation paper about prayer

September 7th - Prayer Stations & “Praying in Color” – in the Youth Wing                            
We will learn about the prayer stations used weekly by our youth and then             
explore our own prayer discipline using ideas from a book called Praying in Color                                                                                            

      From an idea suggested by Patricia Bridgforth, we will learn for four weeks about the awesome power of God in science as interpreted through words and pictures by several interesting speakers from the community. Depending on the audience size, we will meet either in the chapel or the fellowship hall.
