I am a native of Newbern, AL, a graduate of Washington & Lee University and Union and Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminaries. My wife, Carolyn, and I have two adult sons: David, living and working in Italy, and Claiborne, married to Beth and studying at NYU Law School in New York.  My hobbies are gardening, cooking, hunting and managing a family farm in the Black Belt of Alabama.  I enjoy meeting new people and helping them think about God's connection to them and their connection with our community of faith in purposeful, joyful ways.

Bonnie Hariel - Director of Music Ministries/Music Educator
I am a graduate of The University of South Alabama with a degree in Music Education emphasizing voice and piano. I have taught choral and instrumental music in the private and public school systems and directed various adult, youth, children and preschool church music programs. I am also a member of The Dowling Singers and the American Choral Directors Association.  My husband, Matt and I live in Mobile. We enjoy attending USA football games, traveling and social events.
