About The Event

This Sunday, May 21, 2023 at 3 pm! Spanish Fort Presbyterian Church (ALABAMA) presents an afternoon of Jazz and Hymns. Father Dee & The Holy Jam band evolved out of the church band at St. Monica's Cantonment Florida, where Father Dee Fleming was the rector. They played mostly traditional church music and the popular renewal music from the Cursillo movement. Upon retirement, Fr Dee continued work with the Diocese and has continued to play with the band. After Fr Dee moved to New Orleans, the group expanded to include rich New Orleans musical heritage. They now play every first Sunday of the month at Saint Andrew's Episcopal Church in New Orleans and are welcomed to Spanish Fort for this special concert. Join us for this exciting sing-a-long!
